Experience Europe’s most beautiful gardens in full bloom this spring with the 2017 Spring Gardens cruise from The River Cruise Line. This seven-day trip takes you along the sublime waters of the Netherlands and Belgium, with visits to both country’s capital cities and the best botanical gardens each country has to offer. Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, reached a new record in spring 2015 with well over a million visitors. Still, it doesn’t beat the number of bulbs you will find here, with more than seven million of them creating a spectacular carpet of colour.
In the neighbouring country of Belgium, Floralia is the must-see spring event where thousands of bulbs are on show around a beautiful castle.
This relaxing cruise also includes visits to Appeltern Gardens and the National Botanic Garden of Belgium, along with free time in beautiful Dutch and Belgian cities.
