Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Continue south into Germany. We stay overnight in Bavaria.

Day 3
We continue into Austria, to reach Vienna and our hotel for four nights.

Day 4 - Vienna
Join our included excursion with our guide, which will show you some of the highlights of this charming city. Travel the famous Ringstrasse, home to the Opera House, the Burg Theatre and the Houses of Parliament. See many other sights including the famous Hundertwasser House and the Big Wheel in the Prater funfair, made famous by the movie The Third Man. Later, visit one of the Viennese cafés and taste a piece of Sachertorte. The day ends in one of the Heuriger wine taverns with hearty food, wine and some ‘moody’ Schrammeln (music).

Day 5 - Burgenland - The Land of the Sun
Today’s optional excursion is to Burgenland, the most easterly province in Austria. This area could, from the landscape, easily be mistaken for neighbouring Hungary. Visit the wine village of Rust and enjoy a traditional Pannonia lunch.
Enjoy a tour of a local wine cellar, followed by some winetasting. A horse-drawn carriage ride through the vineyards is followed by a short boat cruise on Lake Neusiedl.

Day 6 - Vienna & the André Rieu Concert
Today you will have free time to enjoy your last day in this beautiful city. After an early dinner at the hotel, the highlight of your stay takes place this evening – the unforgettable André Rieu concert with the Johann Strauss Orchestra in Vienna’s Stadthalle. Be charmed by the sounds of Viennese waltzes and operettas.

Day 7 - Melk
We leave Vienna and head west through the Wachau region, making a brief stop in Melk, famous for its impressive abbey. Continue to the Tyrol and our hotel for four nights.

Day 8 - Innsbruck
Join today's included excursion as we head to the capital of Tyrol, Innsbruck. Our city tour will show you some of the highlights, such as the historical Old Town with its lovely Golden Roof, the Hofburg, former imperial residence of the ruling Habsburg Family and the pretty Maria Theresien Street with its stylish shops.
Of course, you will have time to enjoy this lovely city on your own. In the evening, enjoy our typical Tyrolean dinner with traditional music at the hotel.

Day 9 - Salzburg
Enjoy a visit to the city of Salzburg today on our included excursion. Why not join our optional guided sightseeing tour where our local guide will show you all the main features of this beautiful and compact city.
Amongst the highlights you will see the Mirabell Gardens and the attractive Old Town, including, of course, the famous Getreidegasse, where you will visit Mozart’s birthplace.
After the guided city walk you will have the chance to taste the original Mozartkugel – you’re sure to be impressed by the exquisite composition of chocolate and Marzipan!

Day 10 - Tyrol & Bavaria
Join our included excursion, as we explore the idyllic region around Lake Achensee. We start with a boat ride across the lake from Pertisau to the northern tip of the lake.
Continue by coach along the lake to Maurach where, in a distillery, you can learn everything about the nature of brandy and, of course, taste it! A highlight of this day is the drive through the beautiful scenery of the Karwendel Mountains of Bavarian Germany.

Travel north to Belgium for an overnight stay.
